While a little hard to find, Gavez is perfect for clubbers looking to enjoy the last days of summer.

Gavez is an interesting place to check out because it’s a bit unconventional. It’s located close to the popular Ada Ciganlija artificial lake but it’s not at all where you would expect it to be.
Most of the bars and clubs at Ada Ciganlija are on the left coast of the river. This cluster of clubs is probably the second most popular cluster of outdoor, waterfront nightclubs after the splavs located all over the Danube and Sava rivers.
But Gavez is on the complete opposite side, basically in the wilderness that surrounds the popular summer beach. If you’ve never been to Gavez before, consult your maps and take some notes, or be sure to go with someone who’s already been there, because it’s not at all easy to find.
When you do finally reach it, Gavez actually looks more like some kind of hippie commune than an actual club or bar. After entering a small gate, you’ll see an expansive field with picnic tables all over the place.
